Hi all,

Somebody out there has been doing a great job of recommeding the
silver-list to people. I've seen a steady stream of subscribe
requests coming into my mailbox at eskimo.

I have one *REQUEST*, though, please! Let people know to send their
subscribe requests to:

[email protected]

NOTICE the '-request' part of that address! That's different from
when you want to post a message, which is what
[email protected] is for. CLEAR???? <GRIN>

I keep handling stacks of subscribe requests manually, and all too
many unsubscribes and other issues as well. It is tedious and time
consuming, given the crude tools available on a unix shell via
telnet. (If you know what I'm talking about, you'll understand!)

I wonder if one of you has put a mailto: link on your web page, that
really should point to silver-list-request, instead of silver-list?
Check it out, okay?

Please try to help, folks! Thanks.

Be well,

Mike D.
