Dear Wong, WOW, been there, done that! My dumbdoc said my pain was an ulcer, so I took Pepcid for 3 months. Finally I gave up on the lout, took myself to an Internist, who ran scads of tests, and the next week I had my rotten, infected GB removed. I was about a week away from dead.
