For the present, I put "CS is an immune system booster" in the class of things I hope are true but don't know yet. That might be how CS does some of its good thing, or it might not be part of the mechanism at all. Since taking CS I *have* seen improvement in my annual bouts with ragweed in late august 'til the first frost. I've always thought it helps because I don't get an infection on top of the inflamed tissues from the allergies. I know that I would usually go into winter with my bronchitis already inflamed and it would linger until spring, all as a direct result of the allergies tearing me up inside. Be well, Mike D.
