I have been taking a chicken cartilage supplement with success. As long as I am taking it, it appears to drastically slow the joint deterioration. When I stop it reoccurs--I had a case where my elbow was being attacked and it reversed that.
Immunocel is the brand. Good stuff for me. It has natural CS and GS--I did not get benefit from supplemental GS/CS.
