Great experiment, Sharon! I'm sure we'll get other questions and ideas, but here's mine:
What is the ppm claimed for the store-bought stuff? I'd presume you are making something in the range of 5-10 ppm. You did not adjust the amounts you put in the two samples so the amount of *silver* would be similar, so your stuff may have been at an unfair disadvantage. For example, if they claim 30 ppm and you assume 10 ppm for your own, you'd have to put 3 times as much of yours (by volume) to get a similar concentration of silver in the sample. The same thing goes when you're deciding on a dose for internal use based on somebody else's protocol. You have to adjust for concentration, at least. And this, of course, still leaves out the matter of particle size entirely... <GRIN> (Nothing's ever simple!) Don't be disappointed. You're making CS. You just don't know how strong it is.
