Dear N D Fay, Please excuse the lateness of my response to your posting to the CS news group about your brother. But, like your brother, I have severe depression.
I'm sure the more experienced members answered your questions about CS. My contribution is that it sounds like your brother needs some type of anti-depressant. The right medicine can work wonders on restoring one's energy, etc. Sometimes the psychiatrist only has to try one or two to get you feeling much better; and other times you need the patience to keep trying different medicines to get the one or ones that will work for you. Oh, if your brother should look for a psychiatrist to get medication, tell him to find one that he feels comfortable with and trusts. If he gets one that "isn't right" for him, just keep looking.
