I know of a partner of a friend suffering from HIV/Aids related Toxoplasmosis (a brain bug/virus). He refused to take any medicine (due to losing a friends from AZT) , He was sent home by his hospital Dr, basically to die. He started on two teaspoons of 10PPM CS a day & worked up to 2 fluid ounces a day, by six months he had no sign of the Toxo, 10 months after that he decided to go back to work.
It's a wild guess but I'd say It does cross the blood brain barrier, I suffered from Candida & yeast problems for years, we all know this can get into the brain (confusion, short tempered, concentration of a mosquito etc..), I sure felt otherworldly in the head on many occasions. After taking the CS, I had a week or two of very heady feelings (not quite 2001, more like Evil Dead), which I put down to die off/crisis healing.
