Hi Vilik, They harvest seaweed somewhere close to where I live, and I know one of the beaches here in Port Orford has a warning sign on it about dumping raw sewerage in to the ocean. You can see the pipe. Also, this year, when the freighter went aground in Coos Bay, we got hit with oil on our beaches. The Coast Guard said it was unrelated (3 days after ship spills oil we get it...no relationship there), then in a small report they admitted it was from the ship. Now also, a pipe line on the Northern Mexican coast sprung a leak a few weeks ago. I wouldn't eat any seaweed coming from around here. The gray whales aren't even here yet! They're usually here by May1.
