How many high voltage ceramic terminals on your transformer? What is its
voltage?
Some 12,000 volt transformers have one core (12,000O and others have two
cores (6,000 X 6,000)

Answer these and I can tell you what to do with the ground terminal.
Normallu it is
part of the three wire input of the 120 Vac system.

Your question is of concern as I seriously question your respect for high
voltage.
That stuff is leathal.
