Hi James,
When back to the dictionary and found out what happened.
I had used a 1913 dictionary. Went and scanned (I looked at them) my
dictionarys up to 1951 when the meaning of *nice* changed to the words
you used. So your dictionary is 1951 or later. I keep a collection of
dictionarys going back to the late 1700`s for use while reading old
technical papers. Always try to use a dictionary close to the year the
papers are written, so as to get the authors meaning clear. My current
reading is Faraday`s lab notes of 1834. All 3362 notes.
Marsha, we are nice folks aren`t we. Ain`t that so. (ain`t, 1901). Most
of us anyway. Thats why this list has grown, nice people like all us
regular members, who help new members, Even the ones that scream like a
spoiled child instead of asking nicely.
Some people havn`t learned the value of the *first impression*, and I
don`t like the one I saw. Guess it really reflects on their parents and
up bringing.
  Bless you Bob Lee
