Dear Nancy, If a person is taking CS as a preventive, it will certainly stop the disease from gaining a foothold. It stopped my Lyme, after 6 years of being awfully ill. I wish I`d known about it when I was bitten! Recently it stopped a nasty spiderbite, possibly a brown recluse. I was on CS at the time of the bite. I had just a large red swollen mark and a small hole, which healed beautifully. Just a small bluish scar right now. I`m a firm believer in CS, for sure!
