Um, I don't know where you're at but Vitamin K is NOT only available via prescription in the United States of America...yet. Chicken soup is used for colds therapeutically but the body rarely produces chicken soup internally. Chicken soup however,...is not a drug...yet. What you are describing is essentially FOOD or a derivative there of. Food AND drug administration separates the two in the title because they are not one and the same. The supplement are being used the same as a drug, are a drug -- defined as any exogenous substance, not produce in the body, used therapeutically. Vit K is available only by prescription for instance.
