I healed a 15 cm diameter MRSA+ leg ulcer (dx was necrobiosis lipoidica
diabeticorum) within 6 weeks using raw honey compresses.
Purchase raw/unpasturized honey from a health food store, apply liberally to
spot, cover with a layer of gauze and then a waterproof dressing of some
sort (even a chunk of plastic wrap would work). The waterproof layer is to
prevent sticky honey from getting all over your clothes.
I would leave the honey compress on for 24 hours and then remove by
showering and reapply.
Within 6 weeks, the ulcer was healed closed.
Honey is Mother Nature's natural antibiotic.
For those who are diabetic, applying the honey compress does NOT affect your
blood sugars.

One of my relatives has been finned by catfish.
This has been associated with "Flesh Eating Syndrome" and one friend of
mine died within 24 hours after being finned.
Anyway you cut it, this is bad news.
He was finned on both his hard and leg. The hand has healed somewhat but
the leg has a large black spot and he has had surgery already. The
infection is very deep and is draining a lot.
Any ideas or suggestions at all highly appreciated.
He is using CS but I doubt if it is enough.
Fortunately, he is in his early 40's, very strong, and reasonably healthy,
a weight lifter and a runner.
I only learned tonight about the catfish fins.
