You really can't generalize like that. All stores purchase their
supplies from a local distributor, and thus carry different brands
different places in the US. Even the house brand can vary from location
to location. Around here there were only two brands we ever found that
were any good, Crystal Springs and Kroger brand. Walmart had the best
price on the Crystal Springs, so I asked if they could increase their
stock since at that time I was buying several hundred gallons a month
and would continually buy them out of stock. They decided to
discontinue carrying it instead. So at this point, our local Walmart
carries no acceptable brands, and Kroger carries 2.
