My Friends
Seeing only this title gave me a chill: Raw Honey???
No such thing as Raw Honey exists. Honey is Honey, and it is to be used
straight from the bee, this exemplar little creature, without whom life on
earth would not be.
When we extracted honey from our bees (we used to have some 4 to 6 beehives,
each good for some 40.000 of our little friends in prosperous times of rain and
flowers) we would not even allow a drop of water to mix with our product -the
honey-; in that case the broth would be considered of unworthey quality, which
it is.
Honey is only good if it is pure, i.e. when the contents of the bottle (better
glass than any other substance) has no white layer on top. If it has, smell
first after purchasing; if ye can't open DON'T BUY.
Honey mixed with water is cut honey, and looses much of it's value. Honey mixed
with sugar is the most ridiculous thing bee-keepers could be affronted with.
The use of honey may be well known as a preferred sweetener (much better than
sugar, which causes a peak of action then exhaustion; honey gives a long wave
of energy with an extended plateau and no exhaustion); but also for medical
use: for burns (up to the third degree) just apply honey, it is anti bacterial.
(You can try for yourself: have a portion of fungi on your glass - cover it
with honey and see what happens.)
So let us not talk of p u r e honey or r a w honey, it sounds a bit
ignorant. Honey is honey, and anything "done" to it makes it whatever it may
be, but "processed" honey does not have the right to be called honey anymore.
