Doris.. My husband had the same situation, but I put cayenne tincture on the site to stop the heavy bleeding, and butterflied it best I could as he would Not go to the doctor. I was a nurse, and knew he needed stitches, well, needless to say, I kept bathing it in colloidal silver for quite some time, and it did heal with no scar at all. I made him take colloidal orally, also and made him take raw garlic, which is also another good antibiotic.. I was a nervous wreck, but it all turned out well.
