Ok, I need some group help here. I just started reading Becker's book
"Body Electric" and today my boyfriend came home from work with 6
stitches and a pressure dressing on his thumb. He sliced his thumb
the long way and although it is sewn back on, the doc said it might
not take. The pressure dressing has to stay on 2 days but after that
what can we do to facilitate the regrowth/healing? over 40 years old)
He also gave him a prescription for antibiotics which I told him to
forget about. We would use silver water internally and externally to
bath.
Any suggestions from the group?

The best you can do is keep it wet with CS continually. If you wait 2
days before applying, then expect scarring. If you can do it from day
one, he may be able to get away with no scarring at all. I cut the end
off my thumb, and with CS it not only grew back, but so did the fingerprint.
