If you'd really like to get a quantity of Lugol's Iodine, you can order
from Clarkson Lab.

You'll have to order by phone and order a $50 minimum to start an
account. If you're outside of California, your Lugol's order will come
from Ricca Chemical in Texas because of a California law. Once the new
DEA regulations take effect, you'll still be able to get a 5% potassium
iodide 2% iodine version of Lugol's in quantities greater than one
ounce. But you'll have to hurry if you want traditional Lugol's in a
larger quantity.
