Yikes! That sounds like waaaaay too *much* water to me!

There is lots of room for argument *against* the *theory* of '8 glasses a day'. You may be DILUTING your digestive juices with so much water.

Also...

You should NEVER drink with a meal - not even water! A *little* bit is ok, but I'd say no more than 3-4 ounces with your meal.

This could seriously be a large part of your problem.
