Hi Debbie,
This can help with getting to sleep. Immediately before getting into bed, I 
stand next to bed, 
eyes open and turn head as far as possible left and then right and allow my 
shoulders to 
swing along too. About 2 or three seconds per turn. Allowing my eyes to flick 
from one object 
to another is a good indication that my eye muscles have relaxed, which takes a 
bit of 
patience and practise and is good. Do this for a minute or three. Works for me 
and I think it is 
because the brain is filled with thousands of benign pictures which it then 
happily processes 
while i can get to sleep.

It also helps to "see" myself sleeping sufficiently and waking refreshed. I try 
to do the 
visualisation well before actually getting ready to go to sleep.

I take Calcium in the evening and magnesium first thing in the morning. And 
stay away from 
the horrors; so avoid watching the news. ...
