I've been having a LOT more diarrhea than usual lately (been eating carbs again). And it got me to thinking--if we averaged your several days transit time with my maximum of about 2-3 hours, we might average out to be about normal.
LOL, though not really funny, I've had IBS for over 30 years.

This could easily explain why you experience 'symptoms' when ingesting raw whole vinegars and/or fermented dairy products... the *good* critters in these start stirring things up.

As for distilled vinegar - from Norman Walkers "Fresh Vegetable and Fruit Juices":

"... distilled vinegar has concentrated amounts of acetic acid which can destroy red blood corpuscles and interfere with the digestive process. It can also contribute to hardening in the liver (cirrhosis), as well as duodenal and other intestinal ulcers."

What you need to do is address the *problem* - and a serious colon cleansing is what is required. It may take many sessions over a period of months - or even a year or more - to get to the heart of it, for serious cases.

Dr Schulze's colon cleanse will do just that. His #2 formula is especially soothing for people with IBS - you just use enough to control the diarrhea, and the activated charcoal, clay, and herbs will draw out the toxins, chemicals and impacted fecal matter, until your bowel is clean.
