There have been some good suggestions already, but my two cents is that
for healing nerve problems, omega 3 is necessary- I got this from a
specialist in brain injury. I had some nerve damage and I took flax oil
(organic, in the fridge scetion, from 1 to several T a day). It did the
work over time. The explanantion I got was that myelin sheaths are made
of omega 3's and our diet is deficient unless supplemented. I also
had problems digesting the oil, so I bought some digestive enzyme of
the sort that digests fat, I believe it is called lipase, and took that
too, all with a meal.
Another idea: If her problem is caused by toxins like mine was, then
getting rid of them might help. There are many ways to do this, but an
ionic foot bath might give some relief, if there is someone there with
a machine- it pulls toxins out of the feet.
Of course, lots of pure water. That helps flush the system out.

Anyone have any ideas on how to deal with severe burning feet in an
elderly woman? My mother has this problem and some swelling of her
feet. The doctor did a diabetes test, she hasn't heard from them so
she's assuming it's not that. I suspect she has neuropathy. The
doctor also said it is nerve damage in her feet. He put her on some
medication, called nuerotonin, or something like that, or its generic,
which makes her feet swell!! Any advice would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks in advance!!
