Brooks,

I had a similar thing happen with one of my girls when we made the switch from Nutro dog food over to feeding raw. Now at that time I was feeding raw chicken and a small amount of veggies. Giving fish oil and vit. E as supplements. My 12 yr old Welshie had a breast tumor the size of a lemon that the vet said was inoperable since she also had an enlarged heart. Within a month of eating raw the tumor went away. I also had her mother whole could not make it up and down stairs who was running up and down them after a month on raw.

These days I don't feed any veggies unless they are left over from our dinner. They eat beef, tripe, venison, chicken, horsemeat these days. During the winter they get venison bones and the rest of the year I use chicken to get them the bone portion of their diet.

I am now on the third generation of my dogs being raw fed. The shinny coats and 0 vet bills are wonderful :-)
