Ya know, Wayne,

What difference does it make whether someone refers to the substance as
"poison" or "a digestive enzyme"?

Facts are facts and words are words. Call it what you want, but why ?

They are not the same.

 Our bodies respond basically the same;
fever, swelling, pain, swollen lymph glands.

Never had any swollen lymph glands from any cause

No reason to split hairs over
the choice of words. Poison is a catch all term. Yes, poison from a snake or
"poisonous spider" can kill people.

Some spiders are poison and others are not. I don' think a small amount of this
digestive enzyme can kill anyone .........

But, a digestive enzyme is like poison in that it is foreign and the body has to figure out what to do with it.

It does not go all over the body. It stays localized. Very important.

People do respond differently depending on the state of their immune
systems.
Yes, and that can kill you. not the spider, unless it is one of the really bad ones, not normally found in the USA. In other courtries, they can kill an adult male in 3 hours.

The average spider bite received by the average person will resolve itself
more or less in a few days to a week without that person doing much at all.
That my friend is absolutely false. Who is average ? Some bites continue for weeks and months.

I have told enough to make most people consider the real facts, that is all I wanted to do. I even offered many of them and the right words.

Why wouldn't a poultice designed to "draw out" help to neutralize the
"digestive enzyme"? Or is your issue just the word choice of "poison" or
"digestive enzyme" Or do we just not want to give it up and go to bed.
There was never anything drawn our of my body. The venom all stayed there and done the job it was intended.

Most of the treatments are to ease pain and reduce swelling, and make the body more comfortable.

There is really not much that can be done to the venom anyway.
