I received two bites during the night and was unware of them until they began itching rather fiercely. I applied Lugol's and DMSO. Did this several times. Everything seemed ok. After a few days, the itching began again in the exact same spots. So this time I am continuing the Lugol's and DMSO for a much longer time after resolution seems to have occurred. The redness and itching is already much abated, but has not gone away entirely. Hope this helps. Can't see where it could hurt but who knows. Best wishes, pj
