The upshot of it is that she never drank colloidal silver water, she
was given some doctor prescribed strong silver drops for nasal use as a
child, and developed argyria at that time. Her story has been spun to
give support to the FDA's attempt to make everyone use the kind of
medicine they endorse.
There are a few people that have developed argyria from using CS, I
don't think anyone knows exactly why. Some people may have a defective
enzyme or something that is part of our toxin removal system. Getting
enough selenium is important for this system also. Most believe that
adding salt to the water is a Big NoNo, for the silver salts may be
much worse for argyria than just the ionic kind. A Montana rep name of
Stan gave himself argyria by using tap water and adding salt too, so
many compounds were likely made in addition to the cs. He is happy,
though, he still was cured of his condition and does not mind being
slightly grey.
