It seems likely that the body produces cholesterol to heal itself, so in my opinion, it is best left alone, and certainly not take medications to lower it.
Absolutley,the whole chlosterol thing was based upon early misinterpretations, and competitive food industry advertising. The best research shows cholesterol actually protects the body against heart disease and much more. We need vegetables and oil with cholesterol
The best sources are saturated fats... coconut oil is the best vegetable source that I'm aware of. I also love my 'almost raw' ribeye steaks...
