Actually Pat, you have a *very* valid point, which I didn't think of when I was posting about organic stuff. I too *hate* worms and slugs and can remember when, years ago I used to do 'greens' and would often find a slug in them. Horror! Mind you, I suppose the stuff must have been good, or the worms/slugs wouldn't have been there! No consolation though for coming across one. I also know what you mean about the animals, and think if it were me, I would rather not be born than have to suffer the awful end they do. I would hate to be just alive to be someone's dinner! Dee
