There was an article in this mornings paper advising people not to take supplements. It stated that it was more safe to take prescription drugs because they were at least regulated by the FDA and it also stated that supplements and drugs were both chemicals so at least it was preferable to take something that was regulated by the govt. It made the inference that the reason supplements could not be regulated was because so many people had made a big outcry regarding supplement regulation because they thought the govt was trying to take away supplements when all it was trying to do was regulate its safety.
