That Japanese outfit was HUGE and made tryptofan a lot cheaper than anyone else using their new [faulty] process. If I recall, they did get their buttocks sued off, but none of the small guys re-packaging and re-selling it did.

....no, not everyone is evil no matter who they work for, nor is the alt health industry a pack of benevolent angels. Both sides as a whole are "BIG business", the alt health side has more opportunity for the small guy...and the fraudulent / ignorant , less opportunity for committing high tech error and causing deaths, but not none. It's two sides of the same consumer fear based profit margins coin. BIG $$$$$$$, all around ...with intermixed stock and company ownerships playing both sides at once.
