This was an email I received from the Weston A Price Foundation. Their web
address is: http://www.westonaprice.org/<about:blank>. If you aren't a member
you might want to think about joining. They have also been fighting the
pasteurization of almonds. I know the last "raw" almonds I bought at the
health food store didn't taste like raw almonds. Found out the "raw" cheese
you buy at the stores isn't raw either. They are allowed to heat it to one
degree below pasteurization and still be able to call it raw. The laws in this
country stink but I think it's going that same way elsewhere also.

The chemicals and compounds in our food that we avoid are being renamed so you
don't recognize them. I worry for my children and grandchildren.

  Dianne,

Can you please provide a link or more information on this new law against
raw milk in California? I am an avid consumer of it for myself and my dogs,
and am now very concerned. I have not read anything about this, so any info
would be greatly appreciated.

There are more attacks on healthy products out there. California signed a
bill that will make raw milk unavailable. We have been working to get it legal
and it being available in California was a plus. This will be a major set back.

    GOVERNMENT "SNEAK ATTACK"
    ON CALIFORNIA RAW MILK

    Dear Chapter Leaders and Members,

With raw milk politics facing tough battles and having some wonderful
successes across the United States, raw milk has just been dealt a serious blow
and has been made illegal in California as of January 1st 2008.
