No, the hospital will not go on treating you if you run out of money. Not a
chance. No one that I know of will treat you if you do not have money or
insurance.

I am interested in all this as an outsider. What would you do if you
had to have long term health care though? Would the hospital go on treating
you if you ran out of money for instance? Here in the UK we have access to
health care all the time as we have a National Health service which we all pay
into automatically. You can pay for private health care though, if you wish.
Doesn't get you a better doctor; just gets you seen to quicker. Just
wondering. Dee

I find this alarming as I am one who opted to drop my insurance over a
year ago. I haven't used it in many years and just because I had another
birthday they wanted to raise my rates to well over 600/mo !!!! ( My total
monthly income after taxes is only a little over $1000.00 how can I possibly
afford this insurance?) I find this totally unacceptable and chose to opt out
since I don't use it anyways. Now if this becomes the trend its just one

more freedom denied the american public.
