No, the hospital will not go on treating you if you run out of money. Not a chance. No one that I know of will treat you if you do not have money or insurance.

What would you do if you had to have long term health care though? Would the hospital go on treating you if you ran out of money for instance? Here in the UK we have access to health care all the time as we have a National Health service which we all pay into automatically. You can pay for private health care though, if you wish. Doesn't get you a better doctor; just gets you seen to quicker. Just wondering. I haven't used it in many years and just because I had another birthday they wanted to raise my rates to well over 600/mo !!!! ( My total monthly income after taxes is only a little over $1000.00 how can I possibly afford this insurance?) I find this totally unacceptable and chose to opt out since I don't use it anyways. Now if this becomes the trend its just one more freedom denied the american public.
