Dear Folks, Today I saw a foot doc in Napa for the first time, and boy, is he a good `un! The man is nearly 70 and semi-retired, but just hates to quit. Thank goodness, for my sake... He truly tries to help others get well again! I have misaligned tarsals, which were pressing on the nerves, causing numbness, swelling and annoying feelings, no true pain. I thought I had Plantar Fasciitis. Nope... He actually adjusted the bones, as a chiropractor does the spine. He also has fit me for orthotics. This evening, already the numbness is lessened, and the swelling is gone. YAY! Been bothered with this for 2 years. How refreshing to find a medical person who will listen to his patients, and has the ability to do exactly what is needed!! You won`t find many podiatrists who can adjust the foot bones any more, and this one will be fully retired soon. What a loss...He is planning to train others, though, including my Neuro-Muscular Massage therapist. (I sure recommend that mode of massage therapy!!) By the way, Dr. Tikker is quite interested in Colloidal Silver now, as I blabbed all about it as he worked on my tootsies!! Love, Marsha, cooling off in Vallejo
