Greetings Silver List!
I have a small 'beginners' question here:
There was once a thread about two / or one silver rod in the water.
The Anode should be real (99,9) % silver, right?
At a minimum. .9999 is fine as well.
How long should this rod be, if it is 2 millimeter in diameter?
Depends on the current you are running. Aim for 1 mA per square inch or
less.
And what metal should the cathode then be?
Silver is best. Gold can be used. I know some use stainless steel, but
I am not convinced that it does not get involved. Silver must be used
if you are using polarity reversing, since the anode and cathode swap
each half cycle.
And please freshen us up about the time for the best home-made silver
(with 30 volts)?
Depends on the current, and how many ppm you want. Use the Fairday
equations, and compute the amount of time needed for your setup.

Thank you all,
