My son ripped his toenail off the bed with a piece of wood or
something, anyway, he put the nail back down and kept a pad saturated
with CS on it all the time. It healed up fine and didn't even so much
as hint at infection. Good luck. Kathryn

Yesterday I had the misfortune to stump my little toe against the leg
of my rebounder (yeah I know, need to look where I put my feet <:-|

It tore the nail off by 99%, and I went to emergency where a kind
doctor cut the tissue and removed all of nail. My own attempt on
pulling it off didn't work, pain was even worse than pain I already
felt.
Anyhow, I am now left with a raw nail bed, rather sore to walk on
foot, but at least the bleeding has stopped.
Because of the bleeding I couldn't put any arnica around the rest of
the toe that received just the trauma but no torn skin, so the
swelling will be slower to come down. umm.. wasn't quite my day
Would anyone have any suggestions towards a speedy healing of this
sort of injury? I have my spray with CS and DMSO ready for when the
bandage comes off.. That should be tomorrow (if I can handle it being
on there for so long).
Thanks for all input
