Have been battling a fever blister now. First was using tons of L-Lysine and Oil of Oregano internally, putting a L-Lysine stick similar to chap-stick on my sore, and no healing. Remembered that I hadn't had an outbreak in years, so what did stop it in the past.come on brain, think..and remembered CS and DMSO did the trick. Alternated CS on a q-tip, and DMSO on a q-tip, now it's dried up, and almost fully healed. Take care, Cindy
