I agree with Katheryn, If you possibly can, please find another (probably younger) dentist that doesn't parrot the unsupportable line that amalgam fillings and root canals are just fine.
The dental industry is the same position the tobacco industry was when they were assuring us that tobacco smoking was no more harmful or addictive than drinking coffee every day. During that time in our history, my father smoked 2 packs of cigarettes a day and every home had ashtrays within reach of every chair. Every car had ashtrays that were used by the owners or riders if the owners didn't smoke. The walls, curtains, and furniture were yellow from nicotine in every home and office. EVeryone smoked whether it was first hand or second hand. It took decades for the money interest to be over come by common sense and facts. The dental racket is in the early stages of that right now. The money interests in the dental world haven't yet been overcome with common sense and facts. :) --- Clayton Family <[email protected]> wrote: > You might want to consider finding another dentist. > My dentist retired > this past year, and his practice was bought out by a > very nice young > man (30's) a dental surgeon who preferred a more > varied career.
