I began to use CS as a disinfectant for urinary catheters about 1 year ago. To date I have not changed the solution. I have to catheterize myself at least once a week due to stubborn BPH. I've had no problems whatsoever. I have not as yet cultured the solution but intend to soon to see what pathogens, if any, are present.
