Hi folks! Since a few new members have introduced themselves and are wondering, let me briefly review the subject of ... umm, subjects! <grin>
The list rules are spelled out at our web site, www.silverlist.org ... Please take a few minutes to review them. Any reasonable health-related question is welcome, and anyone may answer, regardless whether the information you are relating is related to CS or not. Anything related to CS may be discussed until the topic (or the listeners!) is exhausted. Those things that are *NOT* related to CS should be covered more briefly, so that basic curiosity is satisfied and essential resources pointed out so people can follow up on their own. Detailed or extended discussions of non-CS-related alternative health topics are best moved to our Silver Off Topic List, other forums, or private e-mail. I don't crack the whip real hard or often, so some latitude is usually given. I depend on you all to regulate yourselves responsibly. Failing that, I will step in and ask for topics to end or migrate when our message volume gets too high or CS-related content swamped. A modest amount of chit-chat, humor, and friendliness is, of course, welcome as well, so long as everyone remains conscious that some of our members are themselves sick or caring for loved ones who are ill, and may not have the time or energy to deal with a lot of chatter. Don't hesitate to ask for what you need! It's the surest way to move the conversation in a direction that's useful for you right now. Be well, Mike D.
