I have run into this problem with aging women; that as gravity takes over the pelvic floor muscle abdominal wall becomes weak and no longer can hold the organs in place as in youth. Everything moves down which puts pressure on the lower organs. As a yoga teacher, the uterus dropping is becoming a more common problem mainly with aging women. This puts pressure on the bladder seemingly making feel as though it is a bladder issue but as mentioned, a possible underlying problem being a prolapsed uterus.

I'm not being funny but are you sure the problem is the bladder. It sounds exactly like a friend of mine and when it was investigated - they discovered she had a prolapsed womb and that was causing the problems.
