I have an appointment with one tomorrow and I hope to get an appointment to another one asap.  They both offer different treatments.  My vet believes it is an infection.  They may want to do a culture to determine for sure.  I had some advice regarding the use of super chlorphyll and grape seed extract given every 6 hours that should clear it up within 24 hours.  I plan to start this today.  I swtiched her water to Fiji Artesian Well water as suggested by a Naturpathic doctor.  It has a ph between  8 and 9 which will help alkalize her body.  Unftortuanely, I had been feeding her distilled water for many years which I recently found out is acidic.  This did not help.  As you probably know, disease cannot exist in an alkaline body and diet is the biggest way to keep a body alkaline.

Leigh, have you tried any holistic practioners for animals? I dont know where you live, but  there must be a web site that can give suggestions. I have a beagle that had chronic ear infections. We tried the antibiotic regime for a year and she just kept getting it back along with fungus. I finally went to Pet Mart and got product that had some herbs that fight infection and fungus. I only have to use it about twice a year now. It has completly cured her. Are you sure that it is infection and not a tumor? This can be caused from the water supply according to a vet that my brother went to when two of his hounds got mouth cancer.
