I take Prilosec too. It is an over the counter medication. Pepto bismol upset
my stomach and made me sick, but of course I am allergic to aspirin which Pepto
Bismol contains. Faith G.

Me too. I tried DR Mercolas treatment about six months ago. Heart burn was
tough for the first two months even taking tagmet every day. I found that I had
to avoid or limit certain foods that cause heart burn, all the good pies. Now I
can try some pie for lunch and live with a slight heart burn, if it gets too
bad I use Pepcid Complete. I got rid of my extra pillows and raised bed, not
needed anymore. I still drink water or tea/coffee with lemon juice and
ACVinegar. I had to have my esophagus expanded three times because food would
not go through. I am 76 years old. Try DR Mercolas heartburn/GERDS treatment.
It helped me.
