No, they are not, but compared to other pemf devices this is cheep!!! It does so very much. Currently, a pemf device,sofpulse, is getting fda approval to cure chronic wounds and of course the non union breaks. Usually the chronic wounds are diabetic patients who have open wounds. For those who cannot feel their hand or feet this helps bring back feeling, reduce swelling etc. They already use it for severe burns. I guess fda is gearing up for the wave of baby boomers who will eventually have broken bones the pemf devices heals so much faster and without the pain.
