It's a part of lyme, the spirochete is a spiral shaped bacteria, like that of syphilis. Actually has more than a spiral shape as it's a pleomorph [shape shifter] The most talked about borrelia spirochet is Burgdorferi from the lyme perspective. But there are lots more, Afzelii, Garinii Treponema Palidum [syphilis] etc. I know peolle want to think it comes from a tick and thats true along with other vectors. The first place you get it is from your mom, usually, and then it's given out in a vaccination.
