I figured they had had some problems with goverment regulation...the way they started following everything with "talk to your doctor..." and dropped all the good stuff to talk about walking and recipes.
It was a GREAT magazine. I still delight in my old big book which has lots of those old letters in it. It was a wonderful place for people to share their ideas with each other.
