Isn't all radiation either absorbed or reflected?
..never knew a piece of metal to transmit anything without being hooked up
to a transmitter, but certain shapes can concentrate it as it
reflects..don't think that "round" does that.
The place to look for that info is in the "stealth" field.
Grounded Titanium chain mail would make a decent Faraday cage...needs an
under *ground* wire.
Might look into repeated bouncy impacts and rubbing as a source of damage.
Any damage being constantly repaired can lead to cancer. Every time a
cell replicates, there is a chance of making an error.
All it takes to die of cancer is to live long enough...people are living
longer than ever.
Whole new set of cells every 7 years, at Seventy, that's tenth generation
cellular clones at best.
If an area is constantly healing, many many more generations.
Radiation can damage DNA that later clones a cell, but microwaves and
other EMF don't penetrate salt water very well.
And a Granite buildings emit nuclear radiation in levels unsafe for
prolonged habitation. [Run out into the sun and HIDE! ]

I understood the problem of underwires being a different one again, namely
providing metal to receive any stray radio or microwave (or whatever) signals.
