15 Ways to Reduce EMF Radiation in Your Home and Life Right Now

1. Rise with the sun and go to bed early to make maximum use of daylight and avoid using artificial lighting whenever possible.

## Get that solar radiation, it's better, nothing like a little gamma from a flare.

2. Do things manually if there's a way - don't use electricity as a matter of convenience or to save time. For example, use a manual juicer, a "bike blender," or a broom/mop instead of a vacuum cleaner - all great ways to incorporate exercise into your lifestyle and stay fit, without needing a gym membership or having to leave your home!

## What? "work"?

3. Keep your immune system strengthened with a nutrient-rich organic diet, 8 hours of sleep, moderate exercise, and plenty of fresh air and sun.

## And a light attitude.

4. Practice a chemical-free lifestyle to reduce your total body burden of toxins: replace all personal care and home-cleaning products with chemical free versions, wear organic clothing, use organic bedding, etc.

## Organic chemistry at its best.

5. Wear shoes with a sole made from natural materials (like undyed leather), walk barefoot on the beach or earth, or hug a tree - these all may help you release excess EMFs into the earth and ground your body.

## Bleeds off static charge. No silk and wool, now.

6. Unplug electrical appliances when not in use.

## No use, no power draw, no need to unplug. An on/off switch does the same thing. ["instant on" for things that need to warm up....is a use ]

7. Keep your bedroom free of electrical appliances, especially near your head while you sleep - use a battery-operated alarm clock rather than electric; unplug lamps.

## An electric clock draws no more power than a battery clock. A Lamp switched off draws none at all.

8. Remember that walls, floors, and ceilings do not block EMFs when arranging your furniture.

## But they do when you aren't arranging your furniture? LOL

9. Replace dimmer switches with regular switches to eliminate high-frequency radiation, or "dirty electricity," that can be hidden in your home's electrical wiring.

## Dimmers don't work with energy efficient florescents. They also don't alter frequency much, if at all. What "dirty electricity"? It looks like real clean sine wave on my Oscilloscope...no spikes that I can see.

10. Avoid low-voltage halogen and <http://www.naturalnews.com/fluorescent_lighting.html>fluorescent lighting (including the currently popular energy-efficient compact fluorescent lighting). Fluorescent lighting has been shown to cause migraines10 and contains mercury, which is a hazardous material that can create huge health and environmental problems.

## Stick with higher voltage incandescent infra red emitters, couldn't have a DC low voltage zero frequency light around. Florescent "Flicker" used to cause migraines a lot, but that's been improved. That would be Photons flashing...not EMF. They'll all be replaced by super bright LEDs anyhow, but for now, anything beats a space heater of a light bulb.

The NUMBER ONE source of environmental mercury is coal fired power plants and they *each* emit TONS of it.. Florescent bulbs have very little and it is absolutely contained, but do recycle. Using old style bulbs contributes many many times more mercury to the environment than all the improperly discarded florescent tubes by saving far more energy, reducing mercury emissions dramatically. If you don't break that tube, risk of mercury exposure is zero.

11. Avoid the use of appliances with variable speed drives, such as fans, heaters, front-loading washing machines and some furnaces.

## And dimmers..same thing...reostatic voltage control...a potentiometer.....unless it's a DC or AC/DC motor using pulse width control. DC is zero frequency by definition, at worst an electromagnet when run through a coil of motor windings wire and an extremely weak one if not. Some people put magnets on themselves to heal, then turn right around and shrink from them in fear of magnetism. Do use a dimmer on an electric space heater of a light, but don't vary voltage on a motor? HAH!!! Direct logical conflict.

12. Avoid the use of microwave ovens, hair dryers, electric toothbrushes, electric blankets, heating pads, baby monitors, and other electric products.

## Save that power. Why? See "Number one source" above.

13. Do not buy cordless DECT phones, which emit a constant electromagnetic signal even when not in use. Save cell phones for emergencies and use land lines whenever possible. Make sure cell phones are turned off when not in use, and avoid using them inside a car. When you do use cell phones, use appropriate air tubes and shielding devices: see RFSafe.com and LessEMF.com for available products. Keep cell phone chargers unplugged when not in use.

14. Use LCD computers and TV screens and avoid plasma TVs. Keep computer use to a minimum; keep unplugged when not in use.

15. Avoid areas with wireless networking (WiFi) - internet cafes, airports, etc.

If you are currently buying or building your own home, make sure you choose a home at least 5 miles from the nearest microwave or cell phone tower, high tension power line, or other radio and TV transmitters. Check for future cell tower sites as well as existing ones. Design with as much natural lighting as possible so that you are less dependent on artificial lighting. For added protection against radio and cell phone waves

## Well, that means 5 miles from the nearest major road [ Actually more than 6 miles as 6 miles is the max *optimal* range for a cell tower, but that's not the max range where competition with the stars comes into play ] and a least 10 miles more driving a radical Islam supplied toxic gas manufacturing plant, 5? acres of corn and farm chemicals a day, or 5 miles of higher tension power lines to run an electric EMF and ozone emitter generated by a tons a year mercury spewer? Great choice. Actually, just hide behind a hill. Cell towers are "line of sight"...but usually on top of a hill, so you'll need a bigger one to hide behind. I know a great zero bars dead spot just 2 miles from a tower with homes for sale....in a flood plain.
, use low-e coatings on windows8.

## Keeps your furniture from fading in the sun while you aren't arranging it. Doesn't stop a radio transmission though. Low-e glass does UV and infra red.

Locate the electrical power panel, solar inverters (if you are using active solar), clothes dryer, hot water heater, and any other large electric appliance at least 20 feet from living/sleeping areas. The routing of any dedicated circuits for computer and other electronics should be kept away from critical areas like the bedroom.

Provide a dedicated circuit for the refrigerator so that you can turn off other breakers at night if desired, except for the fridge8.

 # Standard building code, already done.

## There is NO power in the lines unless you are using it...only "potential" power ie , voltage doing nothing, going nowhere. One switch is the same as any other on a line, off is off. No draw, no current, no power.

Good sources for EMF related products include LessEMF.com, RFSafe.com, and CutCat.com.

## Ignorance makes the heart grow fearful, great for sales.
..and you get to worry yourself to death with toxic hormone metabolites.
Pick your poison...then buy a different cure for the same reason.

 Logic?
You live downwind of a coal plant spewing tons of mercury a year into the air and water, a vaccine contains 20 micrograms of mercury, but it's that single "vaccine" that causes the Autism.

It' not a safe world, never was and never will be.
If it's not this, it's getting trampled by a giraffe and UV burning while poking holes in the ground with a stick. The article is loaded with conflicted logic, severely limited viewpoint and ignorance.
Going from maybe bad to certainly worse? Good plan...for a salesman.
