Morning MA,

I've tried that too. Nothing seems to stop these things. And companies

The Essential Oil formulation I made worked like magic. I do not
remember all of it.
However, these are very expensive also.
We have learned that moth balls or the material therein repels many things.
I have some "Snake Repellant" I bought for testing.
If you had an unlimited supply of honey or molasses. you could lure them
away.
Are they Fire Ants or Carpenter Ants. or just Ants ? Likely not Fire Ants.
You could get a pet Anteater.
Likely Clorox Spray would help repel them, to some degree. I as soon
have the ants as to smell
that material.
I just called my friend who has spent a lifetime in the chemical business.
He has some material that is odorless to humans that will keep the ants
out.
He will give me a supply, but I want to see the container and get the
chemical name of the material.
Over the years, he has sold chemicals to virtually every type business
for every purpose known.
He said the material was very economical. Not sure if that is in 55
gallon drums or train car loads.
Will keep you posted.
