what I did for the same problem for myself; after reading "The Cure is in the Cupboard" (about Orageno Oil) was following their instructions. Place 2 drops of straight Orageno Oil on a moistened cotton ball directly on the gum and tooth. Leave it on overnight. The pain was gone the next day..
