Jason, I am not an expert, just an experimenter. It seems to me that it would be as well to do it both ways.
Just assuming, for a minute, that the arthritis is caused by nanobacteria which have walled themselves up in the joints of the arthritic, very cheekily using the patient's own calcium phosphate for the job. In theory, at least, I would think, shining the light on the belly button would have the potential to kill any malevolent bacteria floating around in the bloodstream. Good. Lessen the load. But shining it where they are holed up, cemented in, hidden from the scavenging white cells, the T cells, any and all cells, would reach the hermits not out in polite society in the bloodstream. My understanding is that it works in many ways. I won't go searching the articles right now, but if you want to read up on it from what I do have stored away, let me know. One thing it does is create NO for just the eyeblink of time the body needs it to do its job. The NO - I forget whether it is Nitrous oxide or nitric oxide, but it is not the laughing gas. Also, as I understand it, it can kill the critters. Whether their ivory towers crumble once they are dead, or whether one would need something to crumble them, I don't know. The gadgets I have are like little torches. I think they must be made in China. There is, apparently, some very simple fault in them that makes them stop working with tedious regularity. Because of this inbuilt fault, I have been able to have replacements for the duds three or four times (p&p of $16 for an item that costs $4 to send). I would therefore not recommend el cheapos thrown together by exploited underpaid unfortunates but I would scour the internet for people like V who produce a quality item and who are close enough and knowledgeable enough to advise you wherever you need advice. Anyone want a couple of dud LED torches to dissect? Just kidding, they are not worth the postage. I have two working ones at the moment, one with only a single "frequency" which can go on the belly button or the wrist to treat the bloodstream, and another which has three settings, LED, FIR and acupoint (one fine, small beam). Anyway, at least with my torches, you would shine them on the spot rather than walk around "wearing" them. You can do something similar with the Godzilla / germkiller mentioned in previous posts. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/microelectricitygermkiller/ Much cheaper, too. Like nearly free. R Please excuse my dumb questions... This is very very interesting for me. I know someone with arthritis in their hands, hips and knees. Would the LED's work if the device was pointed at the belly button as someone suggested or would it have to be worn on the places that are bad? Does it kill bacteria in the blood or just promote a healthy immune system? Thanks, J.
